Prayer for the Sick
When someone we love falls ill, we often feel helpless. Yet prayer is one of the most powerful expressions of love we can offer. This prayer for the sick equips you to intercede with faith for those who suffer, entrusting them to the care of the Great Physician.
Prayer
Lord, I bring before You those who are sick—those who suffer in silence, those in hospitals, those battling illnesses beyond human cure. You are the God who heals. Touch each one with Your merciful hand. Comfort those in pain, strengthen those who are weary, kindle hope in those who are discouraged. Guide physicians and healthcare workers with wisdom and compassion. For those whom it is Your will to heal, let healing come. For all, let Your presence be their truest comfort. Grant them peace that surpasses understanding, and draw them ever closer to Your heart. In the name of Jesus, who bore our infirmities and carried our sorrows, I pray. Amen.
