Your Privacy Matters
TheWordPath is built on a simple belief: what you share with God is sacred. We treat your emotional data with the same reverence. This policy explains what we collect, why, and how we protect it.
What We Collect
When you use TheWordPath, we may collect: your email address (if you create an account), the emotions and text you share during check-ins, the Scripture verses shown to you, your checkout responses, and basic usage data (pages visited, session duration).
We use Supabase for data storage with Row Level Security — meaning your check-in data is only accessible to you. We use Anthropic's Claude AI to select personalized Scripture. Your text is sent to Anthropic's API for processing but is not stored by Anthropic for training purposes.
How We Use Your Data
Your emotional data is used solely to: personalize your Scripture experience, build your Soul Garden (transformation tracking), generate weekly reflections, and improve the overall product. We never sell your data. We never share individual check-in data with third parties. We never use your personal struggles for advertising.
Crisis Detection
If our system detects language indicating a mental health crisis (such as self-harm or suicidal thoughts), we display the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline information. We do not report this to any authority or third party — we simply provide the resource.
Cookies & Authentication
We use essential cookies for authentication (keeping you logged in). We use Google OAuth if you choose to sign in with Google. We do not use advertising cookies or tracking pixels.
Your Rights
You can delete your account and all associated data at any time by contacting us. You can export your check-in history. You can use TheWordPath without creating an account (the Heart page works without login).
