Prayer for Peaceful Sleep
The end of each day invites us to release what we cannot control and entrust our lives to God's faithful hands. Many of us carry the weight of the day into the night, making restful sleep difficult. This prayer helps you transition from the noise and strain of waking hours into the calm and restoration of true rest.
Prayer
Lord, the day has come to an end, and I come before You with a weary heart. Thank You for all I have experienced today—the challenges and the blessings alike. Now I place into Your hands everything I could not resolve, everything that weighs upon my mind. You watch over me as I sleep, and that truth brings me peace. Turn away the troubling thoughts and the fears of the night. Let my sleep be deep and restorative. Guard my family and all those I love through these hours. When I wake tomorrow, may I greet the new day You have prepared with a grateful heart. I will rest because You are faithful. Amen.
