Prayer for The Lord's Prayer
Jesus taught this prayer as the pattern for approaching our Father: with adoration, submission, dependence, and forgiveness. The Lord's Prayer is both simple and profound, deeply personal yet universally shared. As you meditate on each phrase, allow it to reshape not merely your words, but the very posture of your heart before God.
Prayer
Our Father in heaven, hallowed be Your name. Your kingdom come, Your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. Forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For Yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Lord, let this prayer be far more than repeated words upon my lips. Make it a true surrender of my entire life to Your purpose and Your reign. Transform me through these ancient, timeless words. Amen.
