Revelation
22 chapters · 404 verses · John · ~95 AD
Exiled on a prison island, an old man sees the end of everything — and the beginning of everything new. The last book of the Bible answers the first question Genesis raised: will God make it right? Yes. Finally and forever.
Overview
Revelation is the Bible's grand finale. Written in apocalyptic code during Roman persecution, it reveals the cosmic battle between good and evil through vivid symbols: seals, trumpets, bowls, beasts, and a bride. Through all the imagery, one message thunders: Jesus wins. Evil is defeated. Death dies. Heaven and earth become one. "He will wipe away every tear from their eyes."
