About this chapter
Luke 6 — Early Galilean Ministry
Luke — Physician and historian, companion of Paul. Set in Grain fields and a level place in Galilee. Religious leaders set traps over Sabbath rules, watching Jesus heal a man's withered hand in their synagogue and seething when he does it anyway. After praying all night, Jesus chooses twelve ordinary men to be his inner circle, then delivers his most radical teaching yet: blessed are the poor and hungry, love your enemies, don't judge others, and treat people exactly how you want to be treated. These aren't suggestions — they're the upside-down values of God's kingdom.
“Luke 6:31”— 6:31
Read when: Read this when you're struggling with difficult people and need a completely different approach to relationships.
